DPDP Compliance

Rainbow Realty Mulund is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of personal data. This page explains how your rights are protected under this law, even though we do not maintain a user registration system or store personal data in a database.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data of individuals within India. While Rainbow Realty Mulund does not collect personal data through user accounts or forms, we may automatically collect limited information via website analytics, cookies, and server logs to improve site functionality and user experience. This includes IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited — data that may constitute digital personal data under the DPDP when linked to an identifiable individual.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your personal data processed by us
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your personal data
  • Right to withdraw consent for any processing based on your consent
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated

Note: These rights apply only to data that can be identified as belonging to you and is processed digitally.

How We Comply

We comply with the DPDP by:

  • Minimizing data collection to only what is necessary for website functionality
  • Using anonymized analytics tools where possible
  • Not storing personal data beyond what is required for technical operations
  • Providing a clear mechanism for you to exercise your rights

Data We Process

Under the DPDP, we may process the following types of digital personal data:

  • IP addresses (temporary, for security and analytics)
  • Browser and device information (for site optimization)
  • Pages visited and time spent on site (aggregated, anonymized analytics)

We do not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, or other identifying information unless voluntarily provided through a contact form — and even then, such data is not stored in a structured database.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of data is based on:

  • Legitimate interest — to ensure website security, functionality, and user experience
  • Consent — when you voluntarily submit information via our contact form

We do not process sensitive personal data as defined under the DPDP.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please send a request to our Data Protection Officer via email at [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your full name
  2. A description of the data you wish to access, correct, or erase
  3. Proof of identity (e.g., a copy of a government-issued ID or a signed declaration)

We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are required to respond to your requests within 30 days of receipt. If your request is complex or requires additional verification, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you accordingly.

No Discrimination Policy

We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
